Bien plus rare que les Lazurites, les échantillons comme celui-ci, de belle couleur, avec des faces cristallines bien formées se sont raréfiés sur le marché. Dimension du cristal: 3.2cm! A very beautiful association of apatite quartz, which remains affordable compared to the usual Panasqueira classics. (main crystal width: 2.9cm) Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.The mineral is not glued to the base (soft putty).

Andradite garnet, demantoid variety | Barras-Gautier-Min.https://static.wixstatic.com/media/daf8af_8fe5ec6de53a419f8aef643022ce2049~mv2.jpg/v1/fit/w_500,h_500,q_90/file.jpg Dimensions: 6.2 x 5cmProvenance: Takab, Belqeys mountain, West Azerbaijan, IranOne of the largest fully crystallized demantoid garnet that I have seen (diameter 3.7cm). All faces are complete, no major cleavage, just micro-fractures as on all major crystals of this deposit, without any consequence on the quality and aesthetics of the piece. A very nice presentation under all 360° angles. If small crystals are relatively easy to find with a gemstone shine, on the other hand, it becomes much more difficult when the crystals are larger, these being often incomplete, deformed, very cleaved or fractured, with non-shiny faces, and missing gem. Ultimately, very good specimens are rare.   Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen.The mineral is not glued to the base.
